Birth: 1906 but on the 1939 Registration it is said that Walter was born in 19th August 1904.
Marriage: In 1933 Walter Married Rose Castle and they had four children together.
Places lived: Sherfield English up to 1939, Maybe Thorney Hill, Bransgore after the 2WW.
Countries Posted: Possibly involved with fighting the Japanese in the Far East Campaign.
P.O.W: Yes Details: It has recently been suggested by an elderly Community Member that Walter was a Prisoner of War towards the end of the 2nd WW and came home looking ill and thin so is likely to have been held by the Japanese.
